1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website (remake.beauty), joining our waitlist, or using the REMAKE application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our services.

2. Nature of the Service (Not Medical Advice)

IMPORTANT: REMAKE is designed to provide cosmetic ingredient analysis, shade matching, and general beauty coaching. The information provided by our website or app is for educational and informational purposes only.

Our analysis regarding comedogenic ratings, allergens, and "toxic" ingredients is based on aggregated cosmetic chemistry data. REMAKE does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. If you have severe acne, allergies, or skin conditions, always consult with a board-certified dermatologist or healthcare provider before using any cosmetic product.

3. User Responsibilities

You agree to use REMAKE for lawful purposes only. You are responsible for independently verifying product ingredient lists (INCI) on the physical product packaging, as brand formulations change frequently. We are not liable for allergic reactions, breakouts, or any health-related issues resulting from the use of products scanned by our app.

4. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of REMAKE (including but not limited to the algorithm, text, graphics, logos, and interface design) are the exclusive property of REMAKE Labs and are protected by international copyright and trademark laws.

5. Subscriptions and Payments (App)

The REMAKE app operates on a hard paywall subscription model. By subscribing through the Apple App Store, you agree to the applicable billing terms. All payments are processed securely via Apple, and any refund requests must be handled through Apple's standard procedures.

Auto-Renewing Subscriptions: Subscription payments will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your account settings on the App Store after purchase.

By using the App, you also agree to be bound by the standard Apple Terms of Use (EULA), which can be found at: Apple Standard EULA.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, REMAKE Labs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your access to or use of, or inability to access or use, our services.

7. Modifications to the Service

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, any part of REMAKE with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of the service.

8. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which REMAKE operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
